Our Pack
Who We Are
We are a Cub Scout pack of the Boy Scouts of America in the Baldwin District of the Mobile Area Council.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides the Cub Scout program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and develops personal fitness. Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs.
Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where youth can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.
What We Offer
Our Pack is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade (or ages 5-11).* Why join? Scouting is a worldwide organization, dedicated to bringing out the best in people. Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose - helping each child learn, grow and mature. Of course, we do all that while having fun!
Fun - This is the primary reason children want to join scouts, and we will do our best to make sure each girl and boy has a great time while learning new things, taking on challenges, and making new friends. As a Pack, we offer several camping trips each year, annual events like the Pinewood Derby and the Raingutter Regatta, service projects like Coastal Cleanup, and social events to get to know each better.
Ideals - Cub Scouting emphasizes spiritual and character growth, development of good citizenship, and personal fitness.
Family - There are a lot of different types of families, and our Pack welcomes every type of family. We provide lots of opportunities to have fun together, including events like our Blue & Gold Dinner and winter holiday party.
Skills - Cub Scouts learn a variety of useful skills in a number of subjects, including conservation, safety, physical fitness, community awareness, academic subjects, sports, and religious activities.
Adventure - Camping, games, outdoor challenges!
Advancement and Recognition - Cub Scouting provides multiple opportunities for Scouts to earn badges and awards.
Diversity, Fellowship, and Positive Attitude - We welcome a diversity of Scouts, brought together to create a feeling of working together for the better.
