It's always a great time to get your Scouting #AdventureOn !
We are currently piloting a new "Family Den" program. Each den is formed around a specific age/grade and like a school class they are not separated by gender for meetings.
The Den Leader is the first point of contact for information and planning regarding your youth's den activities. Our scouts learn about and participate in Scouting primarily through the den leader and assistant leader(s).
Click a Den type to learn more about our age-specific groups and programs.
This group starts fresh every year so we'll be looking for parents who are willing to let us help them get the group started. It's a great way to know your scout will get exactly what you want out of the program! We have handbooks and materials available so you won't be starting empty-handed and the rest of our leaders are here to support you as you start your scouting journey.
As a Lion, your kindergartner will make friends, laugh loud, gain confidence, discover nature, and most of all…have fun! He or she will experience the Scouting concepts of character development, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through engaging and exciting adventures!
A youth who joins Cub Scouting at 7 years of age, or in the 1st grade, will start working towards the rank of Tiger. This program is designed to be done with their parent or adult guardian.
The wolf cub scout rank is intended for youth who are entering the 2nd grade or are at least 8 years old. Earning the wolf rank helps scouts build self-confidence and develop important life skills that will also help them as they progress through the scouting program.
The bear rank is the 4th rank in the Cub Scout program of the Boy Scouts of America. It is intended for those who are entering 3rd grade or are at least 9 years old. To earn the bear rank, a scout must complete requirements in five areas: fitness, citizenship, mental skills, personal growth, and character.
WEBELOS is for those in the 4th and 5th-grade or are at least 10 years old. The skills learned as a WEBELOS prepare our scouts while continuing to learn outdoors skills, participating in many adventures, and start to develop their independence before joining a Scouts BSA troop.
Once a youth has completed her or his WEBELOS rank requirements, or joins as a new Cub Scout in the fifth grade, they may work on their Arrow of Light requirements. AOL is the highest rank in Cub Scouting. Earning this rank prepares a Webelos Scout to move up into the Scouting program and join a Troop.
